Media Center Services

                       Welcome to the WHHS Media Center!  The media center is a great place to visit for reading, studying, researching, and relaxing.  Students may use the media center from 8:10 AM until 3:45 PM each day and during 1st and 2nd lunch periods.

                       In addition to fiction, nonfiction, and reference book collections, computers are available for research and class assignments.  Approximately 40 magazines and periodicals--plus back issues-- are carried in the media center, and students are encouraged to engage in leisure reading.

                       On-line searching of the media center's resources is easily accomplished through an electronic card catalog management system, Athena.  Students may also access the SIRS database, which contains thousands of current, full-text articles from more than 1,200 U.S. and international periodicals.
